The Shell Houston Open

The Shell Houston Open is kicking off this week and always proves to be an amazing event. The thrill of this event goes far beyond the skill and excitement seen on the course. Did you know we could fill 15 Super Bowl stadiums with children who have benefited from $50 million the Shell Houston Open has generated for charity since 1992? This year 5 core charities, plus another 200 non-profits will receive donations or in-kind contributions. Check out the SHO charity site for more details.

The Tournament Course at Redstone is where the world's top players vie for excellence on the Rees Jones/David Toms-designed course. As enjoyable to play as it is beautiful, this course has abundant native plants and wildlife, there is a sense of serenity and solitude unique for a course that is mere minutes from downtown Houston.

Amid the finely groomed fairways, the well-engineered greens and the challenging bunkers, you can almost hear the echoes of thePGA TOUR Professionals inviting you to have fun, encouraging you to compete and inspiring you to improve your game.
